I, too, started my career as a laboratory scientist fresh out of the Polytechnic. It was a field I'd built my life around, despite the modest salary. But life took an unexpected turn when my project ended, and I found myself without a job. Those were some of the toughest days, and I'm sure many of you can relate.
My reality became navigating motherhood after I had my baby, but I didn't let that time go to waste. I seized the opportunity to invest in myself. I eventually secured my first paid internship in digital marketing. (This was way more than what I earned as a laboratory scientist).
Today, I proudly stand as a Product Manager, thriving in my tech career, and I want to share my journey with you.
